Who we are
KnotnCo is a handmade crochet business in Lebanon run by G.K. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +961 78 919291 or on Instagram at @knotnco.lb.
What we collect
This website has no accounts, no database and no contact form that sends data to us. When you order, you type your name, delivery area, chosen pieces and any notes into the cart. That information is turned into a WhatsApp message on your own device, and it only reaches us if you press send. Once you message us, we receive your WhatsApp name, phone number and whatever you write in the chat.
Like every website, our host automatically receives basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
Why we use it
We use your order details only to make your piece, confirm the price, arrange payment and deliver it. Technical data is used by our host to run and protect the site.
Third parties
The site is hosted by Netlify. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. Orders go through WhatsApp, owned by Meta. Links to Instagram and Linktree take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies. We do not use analytics or advertising tools. We never sell, rent or trade your personal data.
Where data is stored
Netlify, Google and Meta operate servers outside Lebanon, mainly in the United States and Europe. By using the site and WhatsApp, your data may be processed in those countries.
How long we keep it
We keep order chats for as long as we need them to complete your order and handle any follow up, and no longer than 12 months after delivery, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Hosting logs are kept by Netlify for a limited period under its own policy.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Your cart is never stored on our servers, and only the owner has access to the business WhatsApp and Instagram accounts. We take reasonable care, but no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data sent over the internet.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request on WhatsApp or Instagram and we will act on it within a reasonable time.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies and does not track you. Your cart lives in the open page only and is cleared when you close or refresh it.
Children
This site is not aimed at children. If you are under 18, please order with a parent or guardian.
Data breaches
If we ever learn that your personal data was exposed, we will tell you without undue delay and inform the competent authorities where the law requires it.
The law
This policy follows Lebanese Law No. 81 of 2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data. We may update it, and the effective date above will change when we do.
